I'm doing research for an HD PVR with mythtv

Decisions so far

try MythDora first
primary purpose is to record and watch over-the-air HD TV
also watch uploaded files, such as HD H.264
hopefully as simple to use as TiVo

Derived Requirements

at least 3 GHz processor (HD H.264)
two pcHDTV 5500 (OTA HD TV) http://www.pchdtv.com/hd_5500.html
